Yes, but 2022 is probably going to be the final year that the PS Vita will get new games released for it and this is why.
The PSP 5G is coming very soon and gamers think that Sony will release the handheld in either 2022 or 2023. That’s in 1 or 2 more years from now.
You might get lucky and get an few more good games on the Vita before then but that’s all you’ll get.
After that, it’s ‘Game Over’ for the Vita.

Ah, the PS Vita. It was a huge hit years ago but today it’s almost dead. Sony has stopped making games for it by the end of 2016 and even through the PS Vita is still getting third party games. Odds are the third party games will stop coming in by the end of 2017 and the PS Vita will be dead and gone by then.

So what happened to make the Vita almost dead by now? Simple Sony started off selling it at 600 bucks then 500 bucks and so on. Eventually poor sales forced Sony to lower the price of the Vita to 200 bucks so more people will buy their game systems . While it finally worked, it was years too late and by then people stopped caring about the PS Vita. So Sony was forced to stop making games for it.

In any case if you add what you can play on the Vita though PSN+ it can be a nice System. But ughhh that propitiatory Memory… WHY!!

Actually they do… In as far as if you bought a Game that has cross Platform support for both the vita & the PS3. You could download the same Game to either the PS3 or Vita though the PSN Store. I forget which Games had / has this, but there were quit a few of them. As to Remote Play I never had an opportunity to try it as I broke my PSP yonks ago now. T_T;
But, I gather its just the beginning for the Vita, and PS4 though.

The End wasn't The End - Found a new home after the great exodus of 2012

I have PS Vita and while it’s a really good system I must agree that the whole memory card thing is bullshit. There are no cheaper alternate memory cards, only those expensive ones Sony makes and you pretty much have to buy a bigger memory card if you want to download more games and media. Mine came with a 4GB card and that’s not nearly enough.

It hurt when I bought a bigger card but at least now I can have more games with me without always deleting the old ones.
