This is the strangest head canon that I have accepted yet!
Pinkies probably happy she still gets to see her little sister and keep her around. She seems the type to have trouble letting go.
Because its kind of funny and fits in with Pinkies creepier side.
After seeing many people running with the idea that the 4th sister is a ghost that photobombs, would you get a warm fuzzy feeling from seeing the ghost of your dead sister…?
I love the idea that it’s her ghost sister that shows up in photos sometimes.

I think Pinkies family has now been confirmed to have the most sisters out of any family.
And she has an imaginary coltfriend/husband too?.
This may confirm a family reunion episode.
