We are past that drama. We kinda quit caring after the episode was okay and the Twilicorn/EqG/Fighting is Magic drama got started.
 
Flash is still a symbol of everything that was wrong with EqG btw.

I wouldn’t mind him having a larger role in a possible Season 5 Episode as long as he’s more than just a clumsy love interest.

More like the 2% of the Fandom with such an irrational hatred of Flash, that his mere appearances is enough to drive them nuts.

Oh! Also I would like to say I told you so to all the people who hated “Keep Calm and Flutter On”. If the season premier didn’t prove reforming Discord was an excellent move for the show, THIS masterpiece of an episode certainly did.  
Off topic, but whatever.

I had mixed feelings about Brad’s cameo.  
One on hand I loved how this was handled. He doesn’t effect the story nor does he even say anything, but at the same time there’s no mistaking him. It’s great for continuity, and I absolutely love continuity in this show.
 
On the other hand I knew how all these fuck-faces on the internets were gonna react. As well, I really hated Flash Sentry in Equestria Girls. He was pointless and contrived and had no real personality. But I DO believe his character could be saved if they wanted to. But really, I would prefer he take on a role like this. A shutup and stay in the background role. He oughta trade with Derpy!
 
But, yeah.

For the record, I kinda liked his cameo, partly because I didn’t hate EQG and was happy for some continuity, and also because I was looking forward to seeing the butthurt from those who hated EQG.

We need a tag for the Flash Sentry drama so I can filter it out.

I picture Rarity going NEEEEEEEIGH.

Uh, pretty sure most of the fandom either did not care or didn’t mind/liked Flash’s cameo.
