It doesn’t help that OP took the most damning screengrab possible. The guy in the interview communicated very well; he spoke up, didn’t stutter, didn’t say “um” or “like,” and is wearing a decent looking polo.

That may sound like sarcasm but no, sadly its very much true. :I They do a better job about reporting the actual news instead of just celebrity gossip and admittedly united states limited worldview, eg, reporting on shit happening in countries we would typically not care about.

The news can and will make any group or person look bad. So sick of seeing so many fans of this show let this shit get to them so much that they won’t even go out in public wearing a T-shirt with a pony on it.  
Honestly, if you’re going to live in fear of what perfect strangers think about you, just stay inside your house as much as you can and if you do go out in public, God forbid you act/look unique and don’t conform to our fine society!

Oh yeah, because they’re the news, they’re not here to inform us on the happenings of the world, they’re here to sell us sensasionalistic stories.
