I did not intend to fish for compliments, my bad, I just wanted to remind everyone:
if you see something you like, check for it and upload it, do not assume that it’s here just because it’s old.
After more than 2 years with the show, it’s more than enough time for Tumblrs to have died, DA accounts locked and forums closed. You may be the one to save a piece from being lost forever. ;)
And I, for one, want to wholeheartedly thank you and the other users who are uploading old treasures that hadn’t made it here before now.
I’m constantly surprised over how people are themselvesconstantly surprised that art from 2011 isn’t up here yet. Derpibooru was founded 2 years ago and since we didn’t import the archives of any former board (other than what we did manually), there are goldmines of material still yet to be dug up by the enterprising explorer.
There are no upload fairies who did the work for you, there are only people like me who descend into the depths of imageboards, DA galleries, forums and Artist Training Ground blogs and return with a handful of treasures. :)
