Here we have Celestia the peacemonger diplomat. Through the centuries this Princess has kept the peace in Equestria, in both civil and international matters. Her political manoeuvring is the stuff of legend, as is her ability to make even the most vocal of dissenters see things her way - even if she has to get a little dirty in the process.
 
Celestia does not take easily to war, and reportedly detests it with every fibre of her being. Regardless of her opinions, she still views it as somewhat necessary at times, even though she will make sure to exhaust every other option before committing to that any military action.
