Well with that show of math you’ll get a lot more than a simple striptease.

“Hmm, let’s see… I know it’s about 4 light-years to Alpha Centauri, that 1 AU is the average distance to the sun, and that it takes light about 8 minutes to get to the Earth from the sun. There are 365.2425 days in the average year, so 365.2425 light-days per light-year times 24 light-hours per light-day times 60 light-minutes per light-hour gives 524,509.2 light-minutes per light-year. Dividing this by 8 light-minutes per AU gives us a value of 65,563.65 AU per light-year. We can now use this conversion factor to get the distance to Alpha Centauri in astronomical units; 65,563.65 AU per light-year times 4 light-years is 262,254.6 AU. Rounding to one significant figure, the distance to Alpha Centauri is 3.0 × 10⁵ AU. This is obviously a rough estimate, but it was the best I could do off the tip of my head. For obvious reasons, astronomical units aren’t typically used for interstellar distances.
