The amount of money Hasbro would gain by clamping down on R34 stuff is far, far, far smaller than the amount of money they would lose by acknowledging its existence. The easiest way to get out of a C&D is to make it so they wouldn’t want to be associated with it.

I know he said that, but I don’t like the whole practice how in Derpibooru where one the rules is to respect the artists ends up being a place, where you can get pirated art just by asking.

And.. I am pretty sure the artist cares at least a little bit, considering he had to raise the minimum price higher because people were paying like 5 cents.. Thus actually making costs for him because Paypal wants their own share.
