After a bit of thinking, I came to a realization. I comic books, henchmen, unless they play a (slightly) bigger role, always look exactly the same. Now granted, it is usually a uniform thing, which is hard to do with ponies, but I think this more of an homage to those old comics than a bit of laziness.
