A dragon and a pony sleeping in the same bed probably implies something that a human and a dog sleeping on a pile of books doesn’t.

What’s so confusing is that in the comics, they show that the cloud gremlins (from rainbow’s micro comic) are human too, so it’s not just limited to ponies.
So why is it that the gremlins are human in eqg’s but not spike the dragon?
