Like I had said, she never got the hang of doing it when in a panic.
She teleported herself, Rarity, Rainbow Dash and Spike all at the same time back when the teen dragons where chasing them. Granted, she failed at the first attempt, so its believable that she has a hard time teleporting others when in panic.
Actually, last time Spike got teleported was in season 2. Multiple times. And he was fine.
