Thing in this case is that Dragnet’s based ’round a L.A.P.D. detective, whereas the badge of the image indicates an agency on-par with federal levels.
If you’re gonna do a theme song with a badge like that, go for the classic: Dragnet.
At least this badge looks a lot better than the pink crap they give Equestrian attorneys (thank you Turnabout Storm).
