Promo images make sense, though I note that in the past, the ew.com articles lack the Hub bug in favor of their own EW watermark ( http://family-room.ew.com/tag/my-little-pony-friendship-is-magic/page/2/ eg).

There do use quotation marks, yes, but they are very inconsistent.
 
Example: Return of Harmony Part 1 and 2 have them facing towards each other.  
Lesson Zero and Luna Eclipsed have them facing the same direction.  
Sisterhooves Social, facing each other.  
Cutie Pox comes along and…they’re facing the same direction again…
 
In Season 3 however, this seems to be fixed.  
With the exception of the two Crystal Empire episodes, every episode has the quotes facing each other.

Okay, I think this could be real. Here’s my reasoning:
 

Dem shadows.

Fuck I really can’t tell whether they’re real or not. Especially this one seems real. The other two…the animatics do depict that a scene like that could happen, but the past has proven several times that people are good at faking these.

The show’s broadcast in a 16:9 aspect ratio, right? Why would whoever’s leaking this cut off over 100 pixels (over 15%) of the height of this image?

That’s what I said, it’s in the promos it’s in the top right…

Yeah, I’m checking against s2e01 and while the design and layout are the same, there’s different details (like the tuft on his tail is missing in this one). But that simply could be to this new BG shot? I dunno.

*For me to only problem is this isn’t the real tittle spot,
