*flash back to a similar scene that happened in Digimon Frontier*
Scoots: I love you too.
Sweetie: What?
Scoot: I mean… I love the holiday with you too…
Why not make her a cripple and have her parents be earth ponies? Could help with her becoming okay with being grounded.
We’ll need to see.
Not to mention I seem to be fine using the “Kids are fucking weird” excuse too when it comes to this having never been fully explored before either. So it’s that, grounded parents, or she’s literally under-developed or handicapped with the wings.
I dunno, “Scootaloo is ashamed that her parents are Earth ponies” would make for a Very Special Episode. I wouldn’t put it past the writers, though, and it fits her tough-girl-who’s-afraid-to-admit-her-weaknesses persona.
Actually, it’d be pretty boss if that’s the direction the S4 “Scoots can’t fly” episode takes.
She’s too ashamed to say it outright?
Of course, the question is, if RD knew Scootaloo had no flight instructor, why in Celestia’s name hasn’t she stepped up to the job? You know, Element of Loyalty and all that?
this is still super cute though.
Sshh, no one likes mud ponies.
I Headcanon at least one of them are.
