Woah. So I was right when I joked these massive event’s happened monthly.
The synopsis of the season four opener indicate the anniversary of her return, not necessarily the first anniversary.
The synopsis of the season four opener would indicate a year, and the end of the third season had Twilight say that only a short while has passed, so that seems acceptable.
Still, I wouldn’t be surprised if future seasons have Twilight’s first annual event since moving to Ponyville occur. Cartoons aren’t big on having time pass.
And all the meanwhile, Mayor Mare is certainly going “Hate! Hate everything!” in her mind.
That would be one CRAZY week.
