Yeah, quite a few cartoons had more then one overseas animation crew to get them done quicker. In fact the first season to the original TMNT was done by TMS. (Tokyo Movie Shinsha.) At times some of their expressions did look a bit anime-ish.
AKOM from South Korea did some parts too, and so did Marvel aka New World from USA.
I actually like that Japanese animation company. They actually did help animate some other American cartoons. (Sense overseas animation is cheaper.)
