There’s something that really bothered me in this episode: If Fluttershy was always able to use the Stare (she wasn’t even a doormat in “The Stare Master”, why now?), why didn’t she use it at the beginning? Did the writer throw that away on purpose for the sake of this episode? It just doesn’t make sense, if you ask me.
