Oh yeah; that was an unnececcary thing in the first game.
It felt like the inventory got tweaked somewhere in production (that “upgrade” in the 2nd chapter gives two mroe rows? Wat? Must have been different origionally), and there’s a few things that could’ve been tweaked too (paint took up way too much goddamned space) It did look like there was some stuff cut out of two– or at least the flavor text on the clothes made it seem like they’d do stuff, besides have Monica cater to my fetishes. |3
My first playthrough, I didn’t realize you could spectrumize mulitples of an item. I wasted so much time synthing one… by one… by one…. by one……… and maxing out my weapons that way. <headdesk>
And you didn’t have to worry about a thirst meter.
Aye, your weapons didn’t just break and disappear forever… Plus, your items actually stacked.
The second is definitely a LOT less of a grind quest, but it helps in some cases. For example, I found myself with a Cross Heinder +18 because I was an idiot and synth’d a +20 weapon onto a level 4 CH without thinking about how I was gonna get the base 0 stats up. I got it upgraded, but it was a bitch to do.
If you stick with your first weapons and level smart, then you’ll do fine.
who is Fraggle? i google it and get this
pretty sure this is not what you mean.

I remember it, heck I have a copy on my self, by far the best game Sony ever put out.
