Dragon Ball has alternate timelines, which is different from what Twelve Monkeys used.
Presumably, bookworms are online more since the invention of Kindle… Where they then become tech heads. XD
>People may not be familiar with 12 Monkeys
>They will definitely be familiar with Dragon Ball Z
Yup, I’m on a geek website alright.
Did you miss the part where they were all doing those things before they got their cutie marks?
Cutie marks are just a reflection of what’s inside of them. They don’t give ponies anything that they don’t already have.
Not even a sense of purpose, because they needed that to get the cutie mark in the first place.
>FiM does’t make the marks the center of anyone’s life.
Like the episode about how the main characters got their marks while doing certain things and have been doing those things ever since?
The cutie marks have always been pithy little pictures. Friendship is Magic was the first incarnation of the franchise to do anything with them, and even FiM does’t make the marks the center of anyone’s life.
The show has said over and over that the mark is just a picture of what they like. It won’t get them a job or reveal anything that they don’t already know.
Also, cutie marks are too important to selling the toys to be deprecated in any way.
