That’s understandable that you call it that but there is one problem with that, people that call Walmart “the Walmart” still know it’s title is only “Walmart”, same with the comic strip, so you should of known the tag would be ‘peanuts’ not ‘the peanuts’.
I’ve always just called it “the peanuts”, like how some people say “the Walmart”. It means the same thing and people know what you’re talking about :P I’m also not Japanese or from the 40s (which is a very bad combo anyways) so I had no idea that “The Peanuts” were a group.
Also the group The Peanuts where the Cosmos(the tiny twins who sang Mothra’s song).
