Second and ignoring that as you have, sexuality can have fuck all to do with people leaving a partner. Long time couples generally don’t split just because they have a sexual urge to satisfy, they split because they no longer work together. This is the land of FiM where it’s pretty much assumed every character is bi by default; it shouldn’t have mattered at all that the guy was paired with another guy any more than with another girl, yet you chose to focus on that.
 
And third, I imagine you’re annoyed rather often, as I’m pretty sure a whole lot of people know better than you about what you’re talking about.
