You know. There is are a couple advantages naked people have over those who wear a ton of armor. Lighter, more flexible, better nimbleness and agility.
I’ve only read a few short blurbs, but read the following quote and try not to smirk:

I can’t help but wonder how effective that was.

The reason for that is most likely because, the less armor you wear, the less your character can AFFORD to be struck. Therefore, you write the fight in such a way to compensate for it.
It’s a trope in fantasy: the less armor you wear, the more invincible you become. I’ve often wondered if men and women strode on to the battlefield in the buff, would people not strike because they’re too busy gawking?

Indeed. That’s a huge beef I have with a lot of the fantasy armor designs for women.

Well, yeah, cold colors compliment almost any dark color quite nicely.
Her color scheme looks rather nice with the armor.
