I have know of the first site for some time, the other is new to me, so I only knew of the quest to be rid of the game, not so much the war of it.
It’s mostly a joke from I can tell.
I didn’t realize a shadow war was being waged across the Internet over this.
A site to destroy.

I remember Nintendo Power listed this game as one of the top 10 “worst games” in their 100th issue. “Bebe’s Kids” for SNES got first place. (Though, in a later anniversary issue NP listed “Superman 64” as the worst game.)
