I always see Rarity as a white TBH. That’s just my headcanon, though. However, I did have some Asians high school classmates with similar antics.
I like that, too. Also works for Rarity.
I tend to see Dark-skin Twilight as a Southeast Asian, ie Filipinos, Thai, Malaysian, Indonesian Chinese.
Says you.
I think you’re taking cartoon ponies WAY too seriously, dude.
The physical features of the African races are biological and do not go away just because a person of African descent happens to live outside of Africa. Likewise, a family of zebras living in Equestria would obviously not magically turn into ponies after a few generations, unless extremely heavy interracial mixing is involved.
That said, I personally don’t have a problem with most dark-skinned humanizations, since they involve dark skin color and not African facial features. That way, I can pretend that they’re Indian (from India).
…so, you’re saying that every black person on this planet was born in and/or lives only in Africa? I mean, if you REALLY wanna go back, pretty much all of humanity originated in Africa. However, I’m pretty sure if you asked the average black person in the U.S., most of them have probably never even BEEN to Africa.
Because it goes against established canon that zebras are analogous to sub-Saharan Africans.
Stereotypes aside, your schema for black women is probably more positive than mine.
…Would still be quite the generous trade.
