You don’t even need your companion to be that tanky, just a distraction for your dumbass prey to go after.
You kidding? Slap a power armor on him, give him a Turbo Plasma Caster, plasma grenades, the Plasma Spaz perk and watch the world burn.
What I really meant is that he isnt much of a fighter, more of a “support” pony. He uses Laser Rifles and a variety of explosives from a medium distance, but runs the hell away if anyone gets close.
Wuss.
Pour everything on endurance, perception and strength, fuck charisma/agility.
Unarmed, ’splosives/big guns and lockpick/medicine are everything you need.
