See, that’s what I was about to say. People still at /mlp/ are pretty much like what you described, anyone with sense went to /anon/ and stayed.
To be honest, I really wish that all the users would go to MLPchan’s /anon/, it’s basically old /mlp/ with mods that care for it.
Everyone’s too much of a stuck up, edgy prick to even consider it though.
Faust came, a whole bunch of new users came, and moot showed his true colors concerning /mlp/. I thought people wouldn’t be stupid enough to go back after the rules were slightly eased, but well…
What happened in early june?
Equestria Daily!! Because that’s the only other pony related thing i can think of other than Fluffybooru and FIMfiction,
I used to go to /mlp/ frequently. I don’t trust it after what happened in early June.
So pressure moot to change the rules. And yeah, the one large-scale project that’s actually getting done isn’t anything out of the ordinary or even unexpected. I’ve been involved with one and it’s amazing how poorly a team works when no one will compromise a bit.
This just reminds me of a thread of “People within the fandom /mlp/ likes” that essentially was just listing either people who unabashedly brown nose the board and depend their entire popularity on the users there or those who have horrible attitudes and hate everyone.
But then who is
Users can’t “make” a board, that’s up to moot and possibly his cohorts. As for a separate website, most large-scale projects /mlp/ starts go up in flames and remain forgotten.

/mlp/ mods only started removing porn when ponychanners came and reported it thanks to Faust.
It was always against the rules to post porn, it’s just that it was never enforced until recently.
