Honestly, the gender ratio for stallion/mare is probably 1:4 or 1:5 around ponyville or even equestria, I don’t see any reason why there wouldn’t be quite as many lesbian relationships. Ofcourse this does NOT mean that every mare loves another NOPE! I’m sure in contrast to us HUMANS, their affections stem from more deeper emotions/feelings towards their “special somepony” rather than from carnal desires (except if they enter the “estrus”, which we don’t know is true or not, since it’s a mature topic which exceeds the canon’s age ratings). In other words there would be even less breakups or complicated multi relationships (even though there is the slight possibility of allowed polyamory, but again “age ratings”). So it would appear that lesbian reltaions are naturally common and on terms with the habitants.
