He said he doesn’t wear a fedora.
Honestly, I’m inclined to agree with him, fedora shaming is stupid. Sure, they might not look too great, but insulting people for what they wear is just stupid no matter how you put it.
I can smell your fedora from here.
Expect I know plenty of MRA people and atheists and none of them were fedoras.
I think you hit the nail on the head with that one, particularly because I’ve never seen a hipster in a fedora.
I thought it was because of MRAs, “Nice guys,” and pretentious faux-intellectual atheists trying to make themselves look smarter than they really are.
Or so says the proletariat. The jury’s still out for me on the subject.
Hate makes you stronger
I don’t wear a fedora but people can wear whatever they want. Fedora shaming is a symptom of a shallow, petty, hateful society.
It will be nice if some day hateful people will lose the power their hateful “propaganda” (comments, image macros, etc.) has over marginalized groups.
Block and ignore any and all hateful people, please!
They don’t. It’s crap that people like Pinkiepony try to perpetuate in order to have more reasons to pick on male MLP fans.
What, you don’t like hats?
@FancyCat2008
It’s kind of gotten ingrained as the new ““look at him trying to be cool, let’s point and laugh[](http://knowyourmeme.com/memes/fedora-shaming) thing. Since bronies are also an easy target for “let’s point and laugh” they get lumped together.
Can you trade me that, please? :3
I don’t think any of those things are specifically tacked on to the negative stereotype of a brony, nor to being a ‘bad person’.
It’s more to imply someone is sad and unsuccessful, or just taking his fandom a little too seriously.
Jealous?
