It looks like a flashback to when she was younger, so the size difference is understandable.

Rainbow is quite short. Fluttershy easily taller than her and with Rarity being taller than Flutters, the size difference becomes more vivid. Soarin, being both male and older, should be taller than Rarity.

So I really like the comic and all, but…  
But am I the only one freaked out by the size difference between Soaring and Rainbow Dash?

RD is shorter to everyone.^^  
But I like Twi’s height the most, just the right amount to be cute but too short that you don’t have to bow down to kiss her. <3  
I also like how Rare and AJ got bigger chests than Shy, normally artists makes her the one with the biggest boobs cause big boobs = very motherly.
 
Man, In Mauroz comics happens so much at once!  
-I adore Shy being scared of heights and everything else expect animals and nice people who she got to know. XD  
-Pinkie havign superstrength(or Shy being really light) was also nice  
-And the slumber party thingie, holy shit, Pinkie that’s a depressing past. I thought Twi was lonely, but at least she was content and sane while she had no friends!  
-Fluttershy almost committed suicide?! Holy shit… does she still have some marks left from her attempt? Also looks like Shy had a horrible past, almost looks to me like Rare and Twi and RD had the best outta the bunch though ofc it also wasn’t ideal.  
-That medaillion is very effective. If RD keeps that one on long enough, it might really play out in Luna’s favor. <.<  
-I like the shadow bolts, they look awesome and are so villany great. <3  
Just wonder what agenda Haze has, I think he’s working for another villian like Chrysalis or Sombra. :D

-I just CAN’T like Twi with that bow! >_< It’s not cute, it’s just distracting and thus annoying, either no bow or make it a really cute bow!

-Yay for friendship winning over cursed medallion!!! Also Soarin is SO cool! I can see why RD idolizes him and like it that Soarin is her star whereas in most other fanfics it’s usually Spitfire. :D  
-Yay for scheming Luna, next comic should be about the fight, another RD vs friends clash adn hopefully AJ who will fell in love with Twi cause I guess that AJ’s past has something to do with her family,friends and her own honesty. And there are quite many families who go apeshit when you tell them you’re gay. And not all friends can take that easily as well. Or maybe I just wanna see AJxTwi in Mauroz art too badly. XD

The human shadowbolts also seem to be actual humans working for Luna as opposed to the pony shadowbolts that WERE Luna Nightmare Moon.
 
Haze could be Mac (I doubt it), but only the artist would know for absolute certain who Haze is.

How would the sadness of seeing her dead drive her to you? If anything, that gives her a reason to despise you. {Though the Elements are pretty much kaput without Fluttershy.}

to be fair, is not like the artist had enough canon material to design those guys, the bastards never took off the masks and two of them are basically the same pony  
 
so he took some liberties to avoid creating two clones, making him the faceless help.
