Yeah, plus honestly I’m glad they didn’t give them “human” skin-tones, and went the “Doug” route. Some fans would like complain like, “Why isn’t Twilight white/black/tan?” Which some do in fanart… Not to mention some act like you drew them “morbidly obese” if they aren’t drawn skinny.
Again, like Beau Skunky said, no matter what they did with the character designs in the movie, people would still complain about something. Changing it would just bring up new reasons to change it, since not everyone can agree on something.
Horsey legs can look pretty damn good if the anatomy and joints have been carefully thought through, like here. Hoof fingers, I generally prefer to be first finger joint only because fingernails and fuck logic. They look painted here, which is cute as buttons.
eeyup. I mean, why not go all the way and humanize them, or at least anthrofy them if they’re not gonna do that. Keeping it in between is just kind of bizzare =/

I wouldn’t have had a problem with it either if the designs were unique and original. Instead, we got those anorexic girls with skin conditions and a lame, bitch style, prom queen wannabe villain.
