Making the rule a bit more specific about what “content” is could definitely help.
I delete as many as I can find and will continue to do so.
Just because people can’t show enough self restraint to go more than 2 sentances without saying it (or worse) doesn’t mean I need to stop enforcing the rules. So far I’m just giving out warnings for breaking rule #7, but believe me I’m very close to bumping that up a notch.
You’re late for that, man. There hundreds, if not thousands comments on safe images that are way worse then mine.
Definition of safe rating:
Safe - Content that really couldn’t offend anyone reasonable, in the theme of the show and its target audience. Safe for work, safe for children.
Rule #7: Image comments should follow the image rating
Comments with content outside of mere profanity should not contain specially tagged content that is not tagged for the image.
Sorry that you find the site rules stupid and think that “R***” is an acceptable topic of discussion around children and at work. I however tend to disagree with your view.
That’s stupid, but whatever.
“INORITE? I am so totally triggered by the hoers r** guise!!!”*
That little R word doesn’t belong on any safe images.
I believe my exact comment was, “INORITE? I am being so triggered right now you guys.” (although with purposefully bad spelling). I fail to see a single vulgar word here, unless “inorite” actually means something in another language.
Vulgarity on safe images is okay as long as it isn’t being used in a sexual context.
The word you were using describes an explicit act and thus is not allowed on safe images.
I fail to see how either of our comments were not “safe”. Neither of us used vulgarity, nor explicit descriptions. We merely added topical humor in two mere sentences.
