Maybe he would have some part of his dragon characteristics like slit eyes or mild fire breath and before you say it needs to be “real” let’s remember this is Equestria Girls we’re talking about everyone has the same skin color of their pony counterparts and let’s not forget the pony ears

ah, thats better, though if he had looked like this in EQG he,  
A. Wouldn’t have been able to just tag along with Twilight all over the place.
 
B. Would not have been able to so instantly back up Twilight’s (or rather Pinkie’s) story of being from another world with his “Hi! I am a talking dog!” bit
