“I know it wasn’t perfect, but what gives you the right to complain?”
“As a loyal viewer, I feel they owe me.”
“What? They’ve given you thousands of hours of entertainment for free. They don’t owe you. If anything, you owe them.”
Owe what? Time used to watch this episode? How about they make up with a BETTER episode next time, huh?

Fixed. Really, making some people easily defeated doesn’t make the writers any more intelligent than the audience.

Yeah for TV shows and internet shows I feel this is definitely right, because you’re not paying the makers for your entertainment (and no your cable/satellite/internet bills don’t count, your ____ provider isn’t the one MAKING the shows you like). Movies and games are another story since you gotta pay for it (movies though are a bit lesser since they don’t cost as much and maybe only waste an hour of your life at worst, while a game can cost $60 or more and might waste even more time if it sucks).

The End wasn't The End - Found a new home after the great exodus of 2012

Every fandom every has had guys like this.

I do like Bart’s reply:
“I know it wasn’t perfect, but what gives you the right to complain?”
“As a loyal viewer, I feel they owe me.”
“What? They’ve given you thousands of hours of entertainment for free. They don’t owe you. If anything, you owe them.”
“…Worst. Episode. Ever.”

It’s especially funny that that little catchphrase was coined from an online user calling a 4th season (which is what many consider one of the greatest seasons) episode that.

It’s not just with bronies, it’s applied to other and always for something negative, just like neckbeard.
Like just having a neckbeard or fedora makes one a bad person, and if you have both your the worst….

I’m not even joking when I say that I still don’t understand the whole “bronies and fedoras” connection. If anything I usually associate fedoras with Phineas and Ferb because of Agent P and all the other OWCA agents.
