Auguest is the month of deep shyay.

Don’t know Apple Bloom’s so cheerful. The reason why there is a long school holiday in Summer was to allow kids to help their families with farm work. And since the Apple’s are farmers…

this was the Story of my life

2 Days till school.

This sums up my summer.

Leaving school.  
First mid-life crisis.  
First real mid-life crisis.

13 weeks!? Here we only have 6, though the rest is spread out over the rest of the year with the total amount being about 11 weeks.

That’s what I hated the most when I was in school. 90 days is a PITIFULLY small amount of time to spend out of school. If you’re going to force kids to slave away in your piss-poor education system then make their biggest break bigger. So glad I’m done with school.

We need a Cheerilee version of her just being drunk for the 3 months, just to sober up on the last day.

I start back in 15 hours.  
Yay! Senior year!  
Next comes college or the Navy!  
Then crippling debt because of student loans or incredible amounts of stress and mind-numbing repetition that acompanay training to be a Naval nuclear engineer!  
Then the rest of my life which will be filled with regret and possible alcoholism!  
Then I’ll turn 70-ish and kill myself so I never have to live in a retirement home!
 
FUN!

Occassionally I have nightmares about having exams the next day that grades depend on. Then I wake up and I’m in bliss knowing I’m an adult and I never have to go through that sh#t again.
 
Little life advice: when you grow up, take your time to get education, be it hands on training or some minor qualification. Not because it is enjoyable, but because it is much more enjoyable to do it on your own terms. That’s what, for me, the whole sh#t is about. Not escaping work, but having the luxury that, when you are fed up and it is taaking over your life, to walk out. ‘cause it’s your money paying for they educaationg you and you’re self reliant and can do without them. Do not let school bully you around. They exist for you, not the other way around. If they do not teach you properly, make them. Or find someone who can.

My holidays in a nutshell.
 
Nowadays, my vacations… Are exactly the same. Some things just never change, no matter how old you are.

Going to collage all year round, I’ve forgotten what that feels like.

Luckily I am in college though so I get to make my own schedule. On Mondays my first class is at 12 in the afternoon, so sleeping in is still something I can do. I also made it so I have no classes on Fridays, thus giving me permanent three day weekends.
