Nah it was pretty much chilled. It was refrigerated when I bought it and the place I got it from was like 5 minutes from the house.

There are all sorts of things that can affect the taste of Moxie. I have found that having it chilled is better than warm. When warm, the Moxie can taste spicy, and burn your throat.
