The worst part is that Flash didn’t do anything to make me hate him. Which of course I hate.
That’s true, but if they really had to go and do it, a ~1 hr movie with a focus somewhere else was the absolutely worst way to go about it. “Hurr durr, I just met this absolutely unremarkable guy and now I am madly in love even though I never displayed romantic interest for anyone before, now let us go back to the actual plot.”
The more important thing to remember is that this cartoon just doesn’t need romance, period. One of the things this show has going for it is the lack of romance.
What do you expect, this fandom has an ultimate level of butthurt.
