That’s exactly what I mean.
Reporting it to the artist is the only that can be done. DA literally ignores all reports submitted through the “Report this deviation” link; a year and a half ago they’d at least send a copy-paste response a week later, but since then reports are simply completely ignored. If the artist doesn’t submit a DMCA, nothing will happen.
If people don’t want to be on DA, all they have to do is make an empty account and use adblock when reporting people. I’m not sure why that would be such a huge problem.
I am well aware of the problems with DA, make no mistake, in fact that sort of problem is exactly why I’ve had to report the theft to the original artists…
I’m not sure what you expect people here here to do about people on DA… outside of uploaders (who generally will report things on DA if they notice) most people here are here because they don’t want to be on DA…
Also, the only way to deal with this sort of thing is for the original artist to file DMCA report with DA; everything else is outright ignored. I have unfortunately way too much experience with that.
Whatever. I’ve already contacted a good number of artists and reported him to MLP-Vectorclub, so it’s not like you doing nothing is going to matter much.

Well, this isn’t DA.
It’s not like his laziness is infringing on anybody else’s rights.
It is. He’s been stealing and editing vectors from people without giving credit, which is something that’s generally frowned upon in the DA community. Not to mention because of how the stupid international copyright laws work, he’s actually infringing by stealing people’s art.
Plus someone who shall not be named won’t shut up about him and how stupid he finds this guy’s stuff on skype…
