Eh, I’ve watched the anime and read the manga, and I can say that I don’t like it, I don’t like overly violent gore-y things no matter how good the story might be, and spending a chapter or two introducing characters, only to have them violently slaughtered the next, doesn’t appeal much to me, more so when the dead ones get replaced by different characters who suffer the same fate, rinse and repeat EVERY. SINGLE. ARC.
 
 
No I don’t really like it much, and while it may have it’s badass scenes every now and then, it kind of loses effect when you watch said character get horribly ripped to pieces moments after said scene.
