Soarin’ is only there for the catering provided by Applejack, Macintosh gets all the exciting roles which upsets Rainbow Dash making the two compete more, Blues just wants to try and look impressive for Pinkie, Thunderlane tries to score a romantic role with Rarity with Spike intervening, and Pokey and Fluttershy try to get the roles of the romantic comedy duo but frequently get shafted doing roles they are the least comfortable with.

Good can you do a story on there boyfriends

A famous playwright comes to Ponyville and wants to have a play retelling the adventures of the Mane Six, namely how they defeated Nightmare Moon, Chrysalis, Discord, and Sombra. The girls (and Spike) get very excited about this and the playwright is even willing to have them be in his play.
 
However, they’re working on a limited time and budget so the Mane 6 would have to play multiple roles, not only to cut down time for actor auditions but also because the playwright says he has to cut down the length of the play so not all the Mane 6 is going to have equal character representation. Most of the Mane 6 argue with each other about how much screen time each mare should have, who would play the villain, and the fact that the play would be mostly about Twilight doing most of the villain slaying and might make the rest of the girls look like dead-weight.
 
Blah, blah, blah, they have contests to see who plays what role in the play.

I don’t care if people like them. In fact, that makes me dislike the ships even more, because it’s harder to avoid and keeps popping up like SoarinDash whenever I look for SoarinJack.
 
Also Pokey’s either with Pinkie or gay, which is sad.
