Fair, but given the changes made so far it’s unlikely that the challenges faced will be unchanged.
I mean given that all the ‘nobles doing evil shenanigans’ stuff was not in the original, who’s to say they haven’t beefed up the challenges somehow too.

I can’t see this Twilight being scared of the trees, falling down a gorge seems like nothing compared to what we’ve seen, she could easily take out a manticore, a sea serpent probably wouldn’t be an issue, I don’t remember what Rainbow does to help. But this Twilight is so competent that she could probably make it through the entire Everfree with maybe only Spike as backup. That only becomes a problem once she can’t use the elements of harmony.
