This is beautiful. The significance of living every day to the fullest and being in the moment is a powerful message. Pinkie basically figured out life greatest question before Twilight, only now does she realise what she meant by it. Amazing piece of art.

I’m more of a worst of both kind of person. We live once and die a little more every day.

Okay, first off: Ow, sad, that is just heartbreaking, but the sad truth about alicorns.
Now, second: Where the heck is Sunset Shimmer? Did someone misclick when they typed in Sunset as a tag? Second, what’s what the lesbian tag? It’s not like it’s implied that they two are a couple. They’re super close friends who have gone through so much crap together. Twilight Knows her friends are all going to die, and for a while she knew she would too. Maybe that was a comfort. Then she got her alicorn form and at some point found out that alicorns are immortal, and so she had a whole new sense of dread about death in her mind.
Got a bit long-winded there, but maybe I just wanted ta clear that I wasn’t going after the fact that the two are most likely lesbians. Just that it wasn’t hinted at. It’s just Princess Twilight Sparkle and her dear friend Pinkie Pie, sitting on a cliff overlooking a glorious sunset, while thinking heavy thoughts, though Pinkie is seemingly incapable of heavy thoughts, at least most of the time.
