And even then, Sahz proves that you aren’t allowed to have comic relief characters in a Final Fantasy game. “Oh, look at this dude! He seems silly, he’s got a chocobo that lives in his hair!” And that’s when (SPOILER ALERT) you lear he has a son who is supposedly trapped forever in crystal, and he nearly commits suicide, and the whole thing just makes him… a lot less comical.
