Biography: A rough-and-tumble New Marelander through and through, Prairie Fire was born the only foal of a poor dockworker and became a known troublemaker in her youth. After running off with a gang of bushrangers in her teens she was caught and arrested for banditry; yet neither a stay in prison nor a short-lived marriage could convince her to settle down and by age twenty-three she was once again a wanted mare.
Fleeing the country to evade justice, she found herself wandering Griffonia alone. As luck would have it her experience in bushcraft and skill with a rifle made her valuable as a hired gun, and she soon found that mercenary work paid far better than straight-up robbery. The many bandits, revolutionaries, and malcontents among the griffons made for easy employment, and fighting alongside them quickly gained her money, fame, and most importantly, respect.
Armed with years of experience in guerrilla warfare and a strong distrust of authority, Prairie recently arrived in Tobuck in search of further battles to fight. Her timing is no coincidence: to her, Pea’s republic is a place of opportunity - a place where common ponies can become legends overnight - and she fully intends to get in on the action.
