That is actually entirely the focus of the movie, I felt. It’s a movie that happens to take place in a high school. I’m happy to report that it’s not at all the high school drama people were fearing. It’s still very much about friendship, which I feel is a key point in the whole movie.

I beg to differ. The dancing bit made it even more awesome. It’s not like she was just standing there. She was dancing with it and that made it adorable. Plus I am really hoping because of it an artist much better than I will draw her and a large muffin with limbs doing the tango or some such dance

Well, if the focus is on the High School social comedy and dosen’t put a lot of focus on actually getting the crown back, I think I’ll just skip it. I don’t doubt the sincerity of the review when they say it’s good, but it’s not my cup of tea.

I still wanna know if Sunset Shimmer is any good as a villain? Like, I know she’s probably gonna be a generic alpha bitch. But I absolutely LOVE that type of character (I guess I just love antagonistic assholes)
 
I wanna know if she’s competent, if her schemes are actually effective, if she’s intelligent in any way. Sunset Shimmer is the reason I’ll be seeing this movie after all.
 
Then again, I love Sombra and everyone seemed to hate him

So far, it’s sounding like pretty much what I expected: a fun little romp that’ll keep you entertained for the 70 or so minutes, not something too deep, but with plenty of little tidbits to go along with it.
 
Basically, an average episode of the show.

Seems most of the reviews are generally the same, it pans out about like the two-parters, so of course it will have a lot of problems that the show has when it comes to its bigger, more adventure-y stories (the ending being rushed) but I’m glad to hear the humor is supposedly still there, and I’ve listened to one leaked song and it was catchy as all get out, and I’m really looking forward to the remixed opener.
