Description
Story - I Never Knew I Found Myself Huge
It was the time of dusk, and it was absolutely silent. Nobody was around, leaving the whole area in the mountains completely calm. However, one pony known as Vapor Trail, was flying in the sky and she was preparing to come straight down nicely.
Once she lands carefully, Vapor Trail, at a regular size, walks her way forward without saying a single word.
“The time of the sky is getting very darker and dusk is already happening. Oh, it sure is silent around here. No humans are anywhere near this place at all. How strange…” Vapor Trail told herself, looking behind, front and sideways and not seeing a single human in sight. “Maybe they must be at their houses or something…”
Vapor Trail kept walking forward and she knew that being so small despite being a regular-sized pony, she really wished that she could be very large, to the point where her head could almost touch the clouds.
“Clouds speak to my soul… I’ve always been so obsessed with them for my life from a young age.” She said taking a look at the gray clouds above her, making her smile.
By flapping her wings hard, Vapor Trail flies up and down twice. Unbeknownst to her, though, something below her was on the ground while she was singing in happiness. After she stopped singing, she fly down and notice that there was a small box containing something inside and she wanted to know what really was inside of it.
When Vapor Trail opens up the box, she notices that it is a potion that has a message saying: “Drink this potion and you’ll be finding yourself absolutely surprised beyond your wildest dreams. From, Sky Stinger.”
“Hmm, Sky Stinger gave me this gift and he’s not here. I’ll tell him thanks later.” Vapor Trail says with thrill as she is excited to give it a shot wondering what it’s like to drink a potion.
Grabbing the potion and drinking it in the process, Vapor Trail finds the potion she just drank tasty, which, in her opinion, tastes like strawberry.
Vapor Trail attempts to go back up and fly in the sky, but before she can do, she starts feeling herself beginning to grow and her entire body was shaking. Her growth is becoming faster and faster, and she continues growing in size up until she has almost reached the clouds.
“Oh, no! I’m huge! How did I get this big?” Vapor Trail wonders why she has gotten herself so large.
While Vapor Trail is surprised to find her much more bigger than before, on the other hoof, she hears voices from behind her.
“And once again, we visit the real world this late…” Rainbow Dash complained about her and Twilight’s arrival into the real world happening during the time of dusk. “Back in Equestria, we’ve been stuck babysitting Sweetie Belle up until 3:50 in the afternoon. Gosh, that was a pain!”
“Grow up, Rainbow. I had a babysitter before when I was a filly, and that’s not any different from us both babysitting Sweetie Belle at the Carousel Boutique.” Twilight Sparkle told Rainbow Dash.
“Where in the real world are we?” Rainbow Dash asks.
Twilight Sparkle looks down and notices the mountains on the ground. She doesn’t see any humans around, leaving her confused as to why there are no humans anywhere.
“It seems like nobody’s home.” She tells Rainbow Dash, informing her that no humans are present.
“Hmm, what a shame. Normally when we visit the real world, we always see them in a city and, of course, searching for them anywhere in the mountains must be no luck. And you were right… they’re not anywhere near this place like we expected.” Rainbow Dash feels disappointed that they have not seen any humans like usual.
As Twilight Sparkle turns head straightforward, she spots Vapor Trail, who appears at a very large size, standing in front of her and Rainbow Dash.
“Rainbow, look! She’s huge!” Twilight Sparkle tells Rainbow Dash about Vapor Trail’s gigantic size.
Both ponies react in shock as they slow themselves down just at the same moment, the titanic Vapor Trail turns her head around, having been hearing their voices the whole time. Now, left with a huge pony on their hooves, they decide to talk with Vapor Trail about what has happened.
“Hey, excuse me? Vapor Trail? How did you end up this big?” Rainbow Dash asks Vapor Trail, wanting to know the situation with the latter becoming a giant in the first place.
“Yeah! It’s rare we interact with you so large like this.” Twilight Sparkle added.
Vapor Trail explains her reason to Rainbow and Twilight, saying, “You see, when I was all alone, walking on the ground, I discovered a box which was clearly a gift for me given by Sky Stinger. When I opened it up, I found a growth potion and I was excited to try it out, and then I grew really large!”
Rainbow Dash tells Twilight Sparkle about Vapor Trail, commenting, “She’s more than 50 ft. tall! You can’t tell exactly how big she is. Nobody can tell! I mean, her voice is so deep!”
“Every time we see giant ponies, they always be at different sizes when huge. They just stay inconsistent while being so large, aren’t they?” Twilight Sparkle rolled her eyes, slightly annoyed that giant ponies never stay the same height each time she and her friends come across into them.
“Staying enormous is pretty great, wouldn’t you say?” Vapor Trail asks Rainbow and Twilight.
“Yeah, but you can’t remain this big forever! You gotta shrink back to normal size! After all, your friend Sky Stinger is waiting to see you in Equestria at the Wonderbolts Academy tomorrow.” Twilight Sparkle reminded Vapor Trail that she had to revert back to the size she was before. “You have some practicing to do!”
“But… I don’t have a shrink potion.” Vapor Trails responds, claiming that she doesn’t have any potions with her that can make her revert to her normal size.
“WHAT?!” Rainbow Dash and Twilight Sparkle react in shock upon what Vapor Trail told them.
Rainbow and Twilight realize they don’t have any shrink potions with them either. Now wondering what will happen if Vapor Trail remains a giant for the rest of her life, they know this will be leaving Sky Stinger angry when they tell him about what happened to his friend.
“Well, bye girls. I’ll be seeing you later!” Vapor Trail said as she walked away from the two tiny ponies, shaking the ground with each step that felt the tremors caused by her massive hooves.
“Oh, great… We got a problem now… A huge one!” Twilight Sparkle told Rainbow Dash.
“Sky Stinger won’t be happy when we tell him that Vapor has gotten huge and can’t return to normal size!” Rainbow Dash said, now feeling regret within her body. “This is definitely not good, not good at all. We gotta go back to Equestria and find a potion that can get Vapor Trail back to her normal size and she’ll be nowhere near this area tomorrow!”
“Well, good thing that Sky Stinger isn’t here. Otherwise, he might snap at us if he was already here!” Twilight Sparkle replied.
He’s not in the real around, so she can’t step on him when he’s in Equestria and not in the real world. Too bad for Vapor Trail. She won’t be getting him this time.
