Probably be easier to sneak into the Pentagon, actually. Bratty teenagers don’t respond well to the Bavarian Fire Fighter trick.
Who blends in perfectly at high school? All she has to do is blend well enough not to get thrown out. We see her make a few missteps, but she can just watch the people around her.
She’s not sneaking into the Pentagon here, she just has to go in,
steal the crownwin a popularity contest, and get out. I’d be more worried about her excuses for attending classes.I don’t suppose you could go to Ponyville as a pony and blend perfectly in, raising no curious eyebrows in the process.
There are enough differences between human and pony culture to make things awkward.
Alright, I need to stop overthinking this.
Would it be? She’s dealt with the social life before, admittedly by ignoring it, and the academic parts are manageable even if you phone everything in.
The only part that would be hard is winning a predominately pointless popularity contest. Even people in high school think that the people in high school that take that sort of stuff seriously have skewed priorities. It’s usually a game, so the only part of high school that’s important for her is just a game for everyone else.
Including the target audience.
No worries. One wonder why she bothers with all the hoops and dosen’t just steal the crown and go home. Hopefully the movie will have covered that potential plot hole.
Sorry, the Sarcasm Detection Plugin is still in alpha. And only compatible with Netscape Navigator.
But yeah, I really don’t like that line. If anything, it produces an adversarial relationship with school that helps nobody. Sure, the social life can be a pain, but that part of life isn’t confined to high school.
@Trickquestion
As Twilight is not human and was not raised immersed in human culture, in this context, high school would be a challenge for her.
But yeah, high school wasn’t exactly terrible. Annoying, stupid, even kinda pointless at times, but not terrible.
Actually, high school wasn’t that bad for me. I was using sarcasm to point out how untrue the tagline of this movie is.
As someone who graduated high school, I can confirm that it was possible the least challenging part of my life. The most I can say is that it is where I developed bad habits that would last for far too long.
From talking to people that are teachers in a bad school district, high school is a refuge from a crap life for far too many.
It isn’t the hardest part of anyone’s life and shouldn’t be treated as such.
Four years? Why that number?
I wouldn’t read it as meaning an age change. The only word on her age that we’ve gotten previous is that she has a maturity level between twelve and eighteen. Teenager is within that range, so it changes nothing.
Actually, it reads “666 fans say ‘I’m in!’”
So… it’s the Fandom who is confirmed for being Lucifer.
Or it’s meant to help paint a image of how she should look.
The call of Sunset Satan…
Yeah, the portal makes her human and about four years younger.
