Yeah, he did the art for one of the issues in the Discord arc with Sunny and Izzy, and the characters looked better there. Like you said, it’s probably because Hasbro wanted the new comics to use the TYT style that his art in TSOZH was more exaggerated.
My 2 cents but everybody’s different. I know I just said he did it better assuming he didn’t just paste Misty’s old mane because I bet it’s a nightmare doing so from scratch but in that case Andy just has simply no experience with this. Besides compared to his last work involving g5, Hasbro simply told him to draw the more cartoony style of tyt. Though he perhaps overdid on the cartoony part.
Yeah, hot take: I don’t like how Andy Price draws the G5 characters in TSOZH
