A lovely commission after having a great discussion with pixelpallet6 we decided to turn the every so favorite Dragon lord Ember from equestria into that of a cute female but still strong Yoshi! Though she seems quite cross at this metamorphosis but still…She loses some, she wins some in the powers department like the long tongue.

As for the story. The Dragon lord was wondering where her fellow dragons, Smolder, Garble and Spike have gone. It has been a few hours since she had last seen them and asking Twilight at the School of Friendship yielded no results or clues…though…it didn’t take long to find an obvious clue which was that of a conspicuously placed Green Pipe that somehow replaced one of the caves in the sulfuric Dragonlands.

Fearing the worst of what might come from that Pipe, Ember would done her dragon armor she used in the Gauntlet of Fire and went in, ready to fight anything that might’ve kidnapped the Dragons and possibly done stuff to them…though…she would be tumbling the moment she went through the pipe as she could see the world around her feel like a portal through space and time. It was like a scene in Doctor Whooves!

After a while of floating around she would finally be flushed out of the pipe, landing on her belly into an unknown land which looked like quite an arcadia…There were many flowers, grass…mountains…it looked really lush and lively but strangely didn’t feel like Equestria…But before she could question what was going on and after getting up, Her wings suddenly lost all feeling as her armor except her boots would suddenly pop out of existence, shocking and angering the dragon who tried to breathe fire but all that came out was…a long and bulbous tongue that just recently changed biology in a flash!

As she looked to her tongue in horror her wings would completely shrivel up and wilt, losing all the membrane that would help her fly as the main parts of it would recede into her back…They would be repurposed for something for people to ride on and to give her rudimentary protection…Her size in general was also starting to downsize with the legs starting to take on a more plantigrade biology as her body began to grow slightly more tubbier.

The tail of hers began to lose most of its length but the dark blue tip would be spared, just the base became a lot more thicker as her form was growing slightly more pear shaped as they speak. And the aforementioned wings? They were being replaced by a hardening, ovular shell that retained the pattern and color of the former flight appendages that were iconic for a dragon…Now it looked like a permanent Saddle for someone to ride on or for rudimentary protection.

Her legs would begin to become more simpler in appearance, with the two knees being straightened up to look more plantigrade as the armored boots began swelling up, looking more like cartoon-y boots while still retaining the equestrian edge with the wings now looking a lot like metallic laces. These new legs would be great for jumping and also temporary flight via struggling and flailing vigorously.

Her once small, sharp claws also began to swell up like balloons, the fingertips in particular became rounder and swollen while still retaining some dexterity as the arms…well…they would of course be resized to fit the anatomy of the soon to be Yoshi. The torso had gone from slim and athletic…to a more cuter and broader anatomy with the internal system of organs now being retrofitted to…be able to encase beings in eggs or eat a lot of different stuff like a Goat!

But with the neck changing, thankfully still able to talk with no change of voice apart from the “Yoshi!” That she blurted out but thankfully not all the time. Her white horns would shrivel back into her skull till there were nothing while her blue spines began swelling proportionately to her growing head becoming more like stylish and personalized dorsal fins.

But the main start of the show was her head itself, the skull began to distort and bloat out as her pointed muzzle began to suddenly inflate out making her mumble as the nostrils enlarged along with it. Her mouth began to grow out more to fit a long tongued dinosaur as her cheeks puffed out, looking more cuter than intimidating…As the bulbous snout solidified which had a change in scent and smell, her eyes finally and suddenly popped out and with a cartoonish SHOOM they were moved till they were close and touching together! They were now large, round and ovular while her slitted eyes and orange irises were spared…

And that, her metamorphosis was done…She was now that of a grumpy but tough looking female Yoshi! With that she would conclude that this also happened to her fellow dragons who entered this strange whimsical continent…She would thus cross her arms in annoyance, looking around the world skeptically as she wondered what to do about this form…She sure would have some uses though like her tongue and flutter jumps if she ever wanted to possibly save her Yoshi-fied friends!
