I’ve started treating these next gens as warm ups before animating and BOY they’ve been a welcome breath of fresh air; these aren’t the only others I’ve drawn, but they’re the most cleaned up so they get posted first lmao

Pinkie and Cheese oddly took awhile to grow on me! I think at first they just felt too obvious and similar, but lots of good fanon and the added canon bonus of them getting together did finally bring me around. Their kids hair is surprisingly fun to draw, though I’m still not sold on Bowtie’s colors.

Bio: Cream shares their parent’s love of partying down to their very core, though they’re especially close to Cheese. They doesn’t like to be tied down and follows in their dad’s footsteps of traveling the land to bring the joy of parties to creatures everywhere, though when they’re in town they’re always willing to help out at the bakery. Cream is very intense, often to the point of being intimidating and doesn’t quite have the same good humor as their parents to make up for it. Cream is a lot of fun at an intense party, but not so much on a casual outing. As a result they actually don’t have a lot of friends, especially since they don’t tend to stay in any one place for long. They and Bowtie are very close though and Bowtie’s unflappable nature refusing to bend in any Cream Hurricane that comes sweeping through town is a result of their closeness growing up together. They don’t appreciate him constantly trying to tame their wild hair with one of his silly accessories though.

Bio: The younger of Pinkie and Cheese’s children, Bowtie is very easy going and good natured. He’s a good solid rock in the middle of his entire family’s rather wild energy; While he doesn’t mind a good party every now and then it’s never been his calling the way it was for his parents or sibling. He has a great passion for accessories of all sort, but especially hair accessories and loves to fix his fluffy mane and tail into a variety of elaborate different styles. It’s the one point of contention between him and Cream, who is very proud of their cotton candy mane’s lack of styling. Bowtie is one of Rarity’s clothes making apprentices and spends a lot of time working with her and Sassy Saddles in Canterlot.
