Description

We got some interesting news today. Someone at 4chan got ahold of some G5 documents which reveals a lot of lore info. I don’t know if this is real or not so keep an open mind about this news. Without further ado, here it is!
  1. The land of Skyros chose Celestia and Luna to lead Equestria instead of Opaline which is presumedly the real reason she is jealous of them.
  2. Speaking of Skyros, had G5 continued we would have learned more about it and the origins of Celestia and Luna. The land itself is described as being similar to Mount Olympus.
  3. Various pony tribes would have reappeared such as Sea Ponies, Bat Ponies (they now have a gothic appearance), Aurora Ponies (Auroricorns?) and Flutter Ponies (complete with butterfly wings!) A new pony tribe called Tropical Ponies would have shown up. They are described as having neon colors and being bio-luminescent.
  4. Apparently The Mane Six/Guardians of Harmony are the ones who created the pony cities of Generation 5. The cities along with invisibubbles (invisible barriers) were meant to protect the ponies from Opaline.

Hi Background pony here. I was the one who uploaded this image here and I have more lore to share. In fact if you click the above link and scroll down in the comments you’ll find a link to the leaked document in the comments there. Be warned this is kinda long.
As mentioned above it’s confirmed that Opaline is jealous of Celestia and Luna when the leader of Skyros (simply known as the Reine Alicorn) chose Celestia and Luna to be the leaders of Equestria. Opaline chose to attack Equestria when Twilight took over the throne as she saw Twilight as young and inexperienced.
The Together Trees were originally called Harmony Trees. The Wishing Tree of Bridlewood is a Together Tree according to the document. The trees are all connected together via their roots which are spread across the land of Equestria. Interestingly it’s mentioned the Tree of Harmony from G4 destroyed the Elements of Harmony itself to prevent them from falling into the wrong hooves.
Again as mentioned above the Mane Six or Guardians of Harmony created the three cities. They were under orders from Twilight to separate the Unity Crystal and travel to distant lands to prevent Opaline from gaining the magic of Equestria. This is why the cities are so far apart from each other.
Applejack and Pinkie Pie made their way to the farthest edge of the land which became Maretime Bay.
Rarity and Starlight Glimmer took a crystal to a forbidden forest which became Bridlewood.
Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy traveled to the highest mountain which became Zephyr Heights.
The three cities held an annual Unity Festival which is meant to recharge their respective crystals and support the magic in the land. But as time went on, the ponies of each city eventually forgot about the festival and the crystals lost their power. This is the reason Magic disappeared from Equestria.

Judging by how it handled the G5 connections and other stories, it was never going to show that stuff to the quality it deserved/we expected. Maybe that’s why they cut it off. And maybe the best fix is to start over with G6.

I’m reading this stuff right now. And it claims that Evilbutt Opaline is supposedly even older than Celestia and Luna.

I’ve heard that the actual source of this was written in June 2021, so it’s possible that some details may have been slightly modified over the years since then.

Keep in mind this was deemed too legally contentious/questionable source to warrant directly linking the entry. And there are enough inconsistencies to make it canonically dubious with the final product.
